Dr. David Bauzá-Capart

Dr. David is an accomplished international educator and school leader with more than 25 years of experience across Spain, Switzerland, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. Currently serving as Principal of SEK Catalunya International School, he has built a distinguished career leading International Baccalaureate (IB) schools and driving innovation in teaching, learning, and curriculum development.

Known for his collaborative and transformational leadership style, David believes in empowering educators, encouraging shared ownership, and building school communities where both students and staff can thrive.

Alongside more than 25 years of leadership experience, David holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Geography. As an experienced IB Lead Educator, consultant, workshop leader, and Evaluation Team Chair, he continues to contribute to the IB community through advisory work, university collaborations, and publications on interdisciplinary learning, character education, and educational leadership.
