Katia Abboud

Originally from Lebanon and now based in The Hague, the Netherlands, Katia brings more than 15 years of international education experience across Lebanon, the UAE, France, Monaco, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Throughout her career, she has held key leadership roles including IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and Assistant Head, supporting schools in developing high-quality learning environments and strong academic programmes.

As an active member of the IB Educator Network (IBEN), Katia serves as an Evaluation Leader and Workshop Leader, working with schools around the world to strengthen the implementation and quality of IB programmes.

Katia is passionate about educational leadership, programme development, and continuous school improvement. She is committed to empowering educators, fostering collaborative learning communities, and helping schools build sustainable systems where both students and educators can thrive.
