Riz Khan

Originally from Manchester, UK, Riz brings more than 14 years of experience in International Baccalaureate education. Throughout his career, he has held a wide range of leadership roles across the UAE, Georgia, and Saudi Arabia, including Head of Languages, MYP Coordinator, Middle School Principal, and Head of School in an IB Continuum school.

As an active member of the IB Educator Network (IBEN), Riz serves in a variety of international roles, including Lead Educator, Chair, Evaluation Leader, Evaluation Facilitator, Programme Leader, Consultant, and Workshop Leader, contributing to the continued development and quality of IB programmes worldwide.

Holding a Master’s degree in Education (Leadership and Management), Riz has a particular interest in change management and pedagogical leadership. He has also contributed to the evolution of IB evaluation by pioneering initiatives such as the Collaborative Learning Protocol and the 2020 evaluation process, reflecting his commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in education.
